Homophily‐adjusted social influence estimation
Abstract Homophily and social influence are two key concepts of social network analysis. Distinguishing between these phenomena is difficult, and approaches to disambiguate the two have been primarily limited to longitudinal data analyses. In this study, we provide sufficient conditions for valid estimation of social influence through cross‐sectional ...

Mitigating measurement error in misspecified small area models
Abstract In the framework of Small area estimation, we consider an area‐level model where a subset of covariates is measured with error. The extent of the error is assumed to be constant throughout the areas, and it is expressed by a scalar parameter γ$$ \gamma $$, which multiplies the deterministic covariance matrix of the estimator of the true ...

Abstract Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) is a progressive autoimmune cholestatic disease for which modelling death, with transplantation as a competing event, is clinically important. Cox proportional hazards (PH) models are widely used, but standard diagnostics detect lack of fit without distinguishing non‐PH from misspecified covariate functions ...

AI‐Enabled Precision Dosing in Pediatrics: Enhancing Model‐Informed Decision Making
Ensuring safe and effective pharmacotherapy for children remains a central challenge in clinical pharmacology, yet rapid advances in AI have not translated into clinical practice. This Perspective highlights how AI‐enabled approaches can enhance model‐informed decision making for precision dosing.

Bemnifosbuvir (BEM) and ruzasvir (RZR) are pan‐genotypic HCV polymerase (NS5B) and NS5A inhibitors, respectively. In a single‐arm study (NCT05904470), 215 treatment‐naïve, adherent participants with chronic HCV (with or without cirrhosis) received BEM 550 mg QD plus RZR 180 mg QD for 8 weeks.

Evidence generation for antihyperglycemic therapies in pediatric type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) remains challenging, with most randomized trials failing to demonstrate statistically significant reductions in glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), partly due to substantial between‐subject variability.

Considerations for the Integration of Clinical Trials and Real‐World Data
As clinical decision‐making increasingly moves toward individualized and context‐specific treatment recommendations, reliance on any single evidence source, randomized or observational, may be insufficient. Principled integration of randomized controlled trials and real‐world data, grounded in explicit causal frameworks, offers a path toward evidence ...

Clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics teams are now being encouraged to implement the ICH M15 framework in drug development to support model‐informed decisions in regulatory submissions. Although model performance is an important component of model evaluation, regulatory confidence also depends on the intended context of use (CoU) and the ...

Bayesian Causal Inference for High-Dimensional Treatment Effect Estimation
This paper presents a Bayesian framework for estimating individualized treatment effects (ITE) in high-dimensional observational data. The proposed approach integrates flexible Bayesian regression with neural-based outcome modeling to estimate ...

ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) reflects a paradox for corporate sustainability: it provides tools for genuine socio‐economic improvement and enables greenwashing at scale. This study examines this duality in emerging Asian markets, where rapid AI adoption coincides with evolving regulatory regimes.
