Triple-error-correcting BCH-like codes [PDF]
The binary primitive triple-error-correcting BCH code is a cyclic code of minimum distance 7 with generator polynomial having zeros $ $, $ ^3$ and $ ^5$ where $ $ is a primitive root of unity. The zero set of the code is said to be {1,3,5}. In the 1970's Kasami showed that one can construct similar triple-error-correcting codes using zero sets ...

Polar codes with a stepped boundary
We consider explicit polar constructions of blocklength $n\rightarrow\infty$ for the two extreme cases of code rates $R\rightarrow1$ and $R\rightarrow0.$ For code rates $R\rightarrow1,$ we design codes with complexity order of $n\log n$ in code ...

Summary Beyond fully mycoheterotrophic plants, many green plants may also obtain carbon from fungal partners. However, bulk stable isotope analyses often lack sufficient resolution in arbuscular mycorrhizal and rhizoctonia‐associated orchid systems, limiting inference of fungal‐derived organic nutrient acquisition.

Purpose Profiles in Informal Digital Learning of English: A Mixed‐Methods Study
ABSTRACT Background Research on Informal Digital Learning of English (IDLE) has largely emphasized engagement intensity, with less attention to learners' underlying purposes. Objectives This study identified purpose profiles in IDLE and examined their associations with digital competence, L2 emotions, and cross‐cultural competence. It also explored how

Application of LT Code with BCH Precode for Wireless Body Area Network [PDF]
Wireless body area network (WBAN) is a key component in telehealth system. The reliability of data transmission is of utmost importance in a WBAN system, as a loss of transmitted data or erroneous data at the receiver may lead to diagnosis errors or ...

Recently, there has been a growing concern regarding the dependability of NAND flash cells, notably as the scale of their features reduces. To address this issue, implementing error correction codes (ECC) proves to be an effective solution.

Evaluating training‐related changes in profiles of recovery experiences
Abstract Recovery from work is associated with better work performance and employee well‐being. Thus, it is important to investigate whether and how recovery training affects the multiple distinct recovery experiences (i.e., psychological detachment, relaxation, control and mastery).

Symbol‐Level GRAND‐Assisted Detection for Polar‐Coded Spatial Modulation in MIMO Systems
This research presents an integrated polar‐coded spatial modulation (PCSM) transceiver scheme for MIMO transmission over Rayleigh fading channels. The proposed architecture employs linear spatial signal processing for antenna and symbol estimation, followed by symbol‐level guessing random additive noise decoding (symbol‐level GRAND)–assisted detection ...

After a brief introduction to both quantum computation and quantum error correction, we show how to construct quantum error-correcting codes based on classical BCH codes. With these codes, decoding can exploit additional information about the position of errors. This error model - the quantum erasure channel - is discussed.
