Bco-C24: A new 3D Dirac nodal line semi-metallic carbon honeycomb for high performance metal-ion battery anodes

, 2020
Three-dimensional porous carbon materials play a significant role in gas separation and energy storage. However, their low performances in energy storage hamper their applications. Herein, we propose a new possible category of carbon honeycomb (CHC), i.e.

Bacterial chondronecrosis with osteomyelitis (BCO) in modern broilers: impacts, mechanisms, and perspectives.

Perspectives in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Nutrition and Natural Resources, 2020
Bacterial chondronecrosis with osteomyelitis (BCO) is one of the leading causes of lameness and welfare concerns in the modern broiler. The avian bone physiology and remodeling process is complex and dependent on numerous bone and vascular cell types and

Reaction of boron atoms with carbon monoxide: matrix infrared spectra of BCO, (BCO)2, and B(CO)2

The Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1992
Infrared spectra were obtained for Ar/CO samples codeposited with laser ablated boron atoms on a 12±1 K salt window. BCO was identified as the primary reaction product, based on isotropic substitution at all atomic positions and ab initio structure and frequency calculations.

Novel methods to characterize bulk RE-BCO superconductors

Physica C: Superconductivity, 2005
Abstract We report on new techniques for the investigation of the radial and the axial homogeneity of top seeded melt-textured RE–Ba–Cu–O (REBCO) monoliths. Whereas the traditional Hall probe scanning technique of trapped fields at the surface of the superconductor provides only global information on the patterns of supercurrent flow, a modified ...

Infiltration growth processing of single grain (Gd,Dy)BCO bulk superconductors: Optimization of liquid phase mass and characterization of physical properties

Journal of Applied Physics, 2019
Infiltration of an optimal amount of liquid (Ba3Cu5O8 denoted further as “035”) for efficient peritectic growth is a primary requirement in the infiltration growth (IG) processing of high-quality REBa2Cu3O7-δ products.

Growth Rate and Superconductivity of Y(Sm)BCO Single Crystals

Physica C: Superconductivity, 1996
Abstract A series of Y 1− x Sm x Ba 2 O 6+δ [Y(Sm)BCO] single crystals were grown by the crystal pulling method. By substitution of Sm for Y, the growth rate was obviously increased, it was nearly 2 times higher with a Sm content x of 0.119 than that of YBCO.

Structural study of commercially produced (RE)BCO films

IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, 2016
Various deposition techniques used in the coated conductor industry result in the formation of different structural inhomogeneities within the superconducting film, having an impact on its electromagnetic properties. In this paper, an attempt for complex characterization of the Y(Gd)Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7-x [(RE)BCO] structure in tapes from two major producers

New Reward-Based Movement to Improve Globally-Evolved BCO in Nurse Rostering Problem

2019 International Seminar on Research of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ISRITI), 2019
Nurse Rostering Problem (NRP) is a crucial problem in hospital industry with combinatorial complex problem. NRP is one of the NP-Hard problems, which means that today there is no definite algorithm that is capable of solving the problem. In this paper, a
