Bio-oil synthesis from cassava pulp via hydrothermal liquefaction: Effects of catalysts and operating conditions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Renewable Energy Development, 2020
The influence of catalysts and operating conditions on the conversion and yield of bio-crude oil from CP via the hydrothermal liquefaction technique (HTL) were studied. HTL is commonly used to convert CP to bio-crude oil (BCO).

A Biomarker‐Driven Ovary–Endometrium Organ‐on‐a‐Chip Mimicking 3D Multicellular Complexity and Menstrual Cyclicity for Predicting Reproductive Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a dual‐organ, biomarker‐integrated ovaryendometrium organ‐on‐a‐chip that recapitulates 3D tissue complexity, menstrual cycle dynamics, and hormonal crosstalk. This platform enables real‐time, cell‐typespecific fluorescent readouts of reproductive toxicity using ANGPTL4 and SERPINB2 as early‐response reporters.

Biaxial Strain Measurements of JC on a (RE)BCO Coated Conductor [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, 2018
For several years it has been possible to measure the uniaxial strain dependence of the critical current density JC (e) of (RE)BCO coated conductors [(RE)BCO tapes] and a parabolic strain dependence of JC (e) has been observed. To improve our understanding of how strain affects the electrical and mechanical properties of a SuperPower APC SCS4050 (RE ...

Research on Drug Supervision System Based on Fisco Bcos Blockchain

open access: yesFrontiers in Business, Economics and Management, 2021
Drug safety is related to people's livelihood and public safety. Therefore, we must improve drug supervision and curb the circulation of counterfeit and substandard drugs. At present, most of the centralized drug supervision systems have some problems, such as few participants, easy data tampering, lack of credibility and so on.This paper analyzes the ...

From Nominalisation to Passive in Old Tibetan: Reconstructing Grammatical Meaning in an Extinct Language1

open access: yesTransactions of the Philological Society, EarlyView.
Abstract Based on an analysis of the Old Literary Tibetan corpus—a corpus of the oldest documented Tibetic language—the present study provides evidence that literary Tibetan v3 verb stems (commonly termed ‘future’) initially encoded passive voice. New arguments put forward in this article range from Trans‐Himalayan nominal morphology to early Tibetan ...
