MARK4 enhances stress granule formation under oxidative stress and increases tau accumulation
MARK4 (red dots) localizes to stress granules (orange dots) and promotes their formation under oxidative stress by modulating TIA1 (blue dots). MARK4 and TIA1 synergistically increase tau (purple) accumulation, and the reduction of the TIA1 ortholog suppresses neurodegeneration in a fly model.

An Alhagi maurorum inspired hierarchical composite membrane (NFCu) was developed by integrating heavy metal remediation and solar‐driven interfacial evaporation in a single platform. Beyond the photothermal effect, a localized photocatalytic process is realized on the CuO surface, deepening the mechanistic understanding of light–matter–water ...

Schematic illustration of the proposed mechanism: PEG/RGD‐PSLs mimic apoptotic cells to engage PS receptors (notably CD300a), transducing an inhibitory signal that suppresses the MyD88/NF‐κB pathway, leading to global anti‐inflammatory and pro‐reparative effects.

Effect of beak length on feed intake in pigeons (Columba livia f. domestica) [PDF]
This study was undertaken to investigate the effect of beak length on feed intake with regard to animal welfare. The study involved two treatments groups; short beak pigeons (G-SB; n = 7) and normal beak pigeons (G-NB; n = 7) and was carried out in two ...
