How can additive manufacturing enable components that sense, adapt, heal, and power themselves? This review synthesizes recent advances in smart functionalities, manufacturing technologies, and intelligent design strategies, revealing a pathway toward fully integrated, autonomous, and multifunctional systems across diverse engineering sectors. Additive

Abstract Domesticated European rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) have long been chosen as laboratory model organisms. Despite this, there has been no definitive study of the vertebral musculature of wild rabbits. Relevant descriptions of well‐studied veterinary model mammals (such as dogs) are generally applicable, but not appropriate for a species ...

Integrating whole‐bone and regional analyses to understand human scapular growth
Abstract This study investigates ontogenetic changes in human scapular morphology using three‐dimensional geometric morphometrics with whole‐bone and region‐specific analyses. The aim is to evaluate whether the scapula follows a regular developmental pattern and whether its functionally distinct components, the scapular spine (SS) and glenoid fossa ...

Abstract The Late Triassic–Early Jurassic fissures of the Bristol Channel area (southwest England and south Wales) are renowned for their diverse vertebrate faunas. These assemblages have yielded an array of predominantly small‐bodied forms that are crucial to our understanding of the early evolution of several major tetrapod clades.

Objective Synovial fibroblasts directly contribute to inflammation and damage in immune‐mediated inflammatory arthritis. CD248/endosialin is expressed by fibroblasts in the synovium, is highly up‐regulated during inflammation, and has been proposed as a potential therapeutic target.

Contextual Factors Impacting Different Stages of Voluntary Occupational Change: The Case of Turkey
ABSTRACT Occupational change has become increasingly common in recent decades. However, we know little about how contextual factors shape the voluntary occupational change process. By integrating the Careers in Context Framework (Mayrhofer et al. 2007) and the Transtheoretical Model of Career Change (Barclay et al.

Classification boundaries for stiffness of beam-column joints and column bases
Eurocode 3 part 1-8 gives stiffness boundaries for nominally pinned, semi-rigid and rigid beam-to-column joints and for semi-rigid and rigid column bases. The background for these limits has been investigated and analysed to see how they affect the resulting moment- and deflection distributions for a range of portal frames.

A durable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) is essential for mitigating the mechanical fracture and interfacial instability of silicon anodes under strong electrochemical‐mechanical coupling. Herein, a uniform Li2O layer was accurately deposited on the Si/C composites to regulate the growth characteristics of SEI.

Coupling Atomic Confinement With CO2 Pressure for Selective and Stable CO2 Electroreduction
The coupling of high‐pressure operation with atomic‐scale catalyst design was investigated via an electrochemical cation implantation (ECI) process to create confined reaction environments over SnOx catalyst. The synergistic interplay between structural confinement and CO2 pressure was investigated, and the reaction mechanism for CO2RR to CO was ...
