Transformation of spatial domain of the pumping beam into spectral domain of the output oscillation

SPIE Proceedings, 2002
We present a novel technical approach to build a multiwavelength/superbroadband laser source based on a combination of spectral and spatial domains. This approach provides a direct transformation of spatial domain of the pumping beam into spectral domain of the output oscillation.

3d Complex Beams in the Spatial and the Spectral Domains

Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2010
A unified and generalized formulation for the complex spatial point source beam solutions of the Helmholtz wave equation in the spatial and the Fourier-spectral domains for both, 3D and 2D scenarios, is presented in this paper. This general formulation is based on the description of the solutions in terms of complex distances and complex angles ...

Beam shaping in the fractional Fourier transform domain

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 1998
A new design approach for the diffractive phase elements (DPE’s) that implement beam shaping in the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) domain is presented. The new algorithm can successfully achieve the design of DPE’s for beam shaping in both unitary and nonunitary transform systems.

Fatigue analysis of a notched beam in frequency domain

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2019
The article is devoted to the estimation of fatigue life of dynamically loaded components in the frequency domain using numerical methods of mechanics. The theoretical part presents basic knowledge about statistical processing of random signals, probability models and fatigue damage models.

Determination of Beam Coupling Impedance in the Frequency Domain

2016
