This article presents a solver‐agnostic domain‐specific language (DSL) for computational structural mechanics that strengthens interoperability in virtual product development. Using a hierarchical data model, the DSL enables seamless exchange between diverse simulation tools and numerical methods.

The Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) glacier network of the Valsugana area (south-eastern European Alps and Prealps, NE Italy) [PDF]
We present new chronological and palaeoclimatological constraints on the evolution of the Valsugana glacier network (south-eastern European Alps) during the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). The detection of ice-marginal sediments and landforms, related to the

Dynamic beam-beam effects measured at KEKB [PDF]
A series of measurements were carried out to investigate the dynamic beam-beam effects. The beam beam kick and the beam-beam tune-shift were obtained by comparing the beam parameters between a colliding bunch and a non-colliding one. The horizontal beam size at the interaction point estimated from a beam-beam kick curve slightly decreased as the beam ...

Herein, environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) is discussed as a powerful extension of conventional SEM for life sciences. By combining high‐resolution imaging with variable pressure and humidity, ESEM allows the analysis of untreated biological materials, supports in situ monitoring of hydration‐driven changes, and advances the functional ...

Beam Dynamic Study of a Designed Accelerating Cavity for 6 MeV Linac [PDF]
Side coupled standing wave accelerating cavities are widely used in a low energy linear accelerator because of relatively high accelerating gradient and low sensitivity to construction tolerances.

Longitudinal Momentum Mining of Beam Particles in a Storage Ring
I describe a new scheme for selectively isolating high density low longitudinal emittance beam particles in a storage ring from the rest of the beam without emittance dilution.

In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

Hamiltonian Nonlinear Beam Dynamics
Deviations from linear beam dynamics in the form of perturbations and aberrations play an important role in accelerator physics. Beam parameters, quality and stability are determined by our ability to correct and control such perturbations. Hamiltonian formulation of nonlinear beam dynamics allows us to study, understand and quantify the effects of ...
