Constrained Channel Decomposition-Based Hybrid Beamforming for mmWave Massive MIMO Systems
In this article, we propose a hybrid beamforming design for multiuser mmWave massive MIMO systems. We adopt a two-stage approach for designing the analog and digital beamforming separately. The analog beamforming design is based on a constrained low-rank

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.

Beamforming is one of the most commonly used methods for estimating the active neural sources from the MEG or EEG sensor readings. The basic assumption in beamforming is that the sources are uncorrelated, which allows for estimating each source independent of the others.

Secure Beamforming via Amplify-and-Forward Relays in Machine-to-Machine Communications
We consider the collaborative use of amplify-and-forward relays to form a beamforming system and provide physical layer security for a wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) communication network. We investigate two objectives: (i) the achievable secrecy rate

Abstract Objective Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) causes drug‐resistant epilepsy requiring presurgical evaluation. Invasive electroencephalographic (EEG) studies demonstrate that sleep modulates epileptic activity, including interictal epileptiform discharges (IEDs), fast oscillations (FOs) in the beta (14–40 Hz) and gamma (40–80 Hz) frequency bands ...

Review of millimeter‐wave and terahertz near‐field synthetic aperture radar imaging technology
Abstract This paper comprehensively reviews the development of millimeter‐wave (MMW) and terahertz (THz) near‐field imaging technologies, with an emphasis on the state of synthetic aperture radar (SAR)‐based imaging technologies. Near‐field imaging technologies are categorized into passive and active imaging modes, among which active imaging is favored
