Nursing After Virtue: Revisiting the Work of Derek Sellman

open access: yesNursing Philosophy, Volume 27, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Between 1997 and 2009 Derek Sellman published a series of articles that explore the question: what makes a good nurse. Electrochemical Decarboxylative Hydroxylation for the Sustainable Synthesis of Bempedoic Acid

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 6, 17 March 2026.
A sustainable synthesis of bempedoic acid is achieved using electrochemical hydroxylative decarboxylation as the key step. Starting from Meldrum's acid, mild metal‐free alkylation, hydrolysis, and decarboxylation provide the key precursor, which is electrochemically converted to the alcohol intermediate and then hydrolyzed to the final product ...

Unique Performance Considerations for Printable Organic Semiconductor and Perovskite Radiation Detectors: Toward Consensus on Best Practice Evaluation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 21, 12 March 2026.
A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

Children and Young People With First Relapse or Progression of Upfront Metastatic Rhabdomyosarcoma: An Analysis of Clinical Features and Outcomes From the INternational Soft Tissue saRcoma ConsorTium (INSTRuCT)

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 3, March 2026.
In this pooled analysis of 1095 patients with metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma, 3‐year overall survival was only 8% among the 727 patients with first event of relapse or progression. Patients “disease‐free” 3 years after first event had less locoregional lymph node involvement, fewer known adverse risk factors and lower Oberlin scores at first presentation ...

L’impact de la COVID‐19 sur l’expérience client en magasin

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Administrative Sciences / Revue Canadienne des Sciences de l'Administration, Volume 43, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Customer experience, a key concept in marketing, consists of five dimensions (sensory, emotional, cognitive, behavioural and social) that can allow consumers to have a unique and pleasant experience. However, the COVID‐19 pandemic has significantly altered these dimensions and thus transformed the consumer's in‐store experience.
