Macrofaunal b ~ o n ~ a s s and production were studied at 6 sites on an intertidal mussel bed in the northern Wadden Sea near the island of Sylt (North Sea) in 1984 Mean biornass of the community was about 25 times h ~ g h e r (1243 g AFDW m-') than in other commumties of the Wadden Sea Of t h s biomass, 97 % was represented by the mussel Myt~ lus e d

Enhanced hydrogen species migration enabled by FN/BZY catalyst mitigates intermediate accumulation and improves DA‐PCFC performance during ammonia decomposition. Ammonia, with its high hydrogen density and carbon‐free nature, serves as ideal fuel for direct ammonia protonic ceramic fuel cells (DA‐PCFCs).

: The dynamic interaction between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems through streams and rivers plays a crucial role in the transport and transformation of passive and reactive solutes, including nutrients and Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs). Among these, microplastics (MP) have received increasing attention due to their toxicity and possible ...

Abstract Background The molecular mechanisms underlying adaptation to physical exertion and racing stress in horses remain incompletely understood. Peripheral blood transcriptomics offers a minimally invasive method to monitor systemic responses to exercise and identify biomarkers of adaptation or overload. Objectives To evaluate transcriptomic changes
