Do camera light traps for moths provide similar data as conventional funnel light traps?
We recorded moths using a traditional collection method (funnel light traps, FLTs) and compared them with records made using automated camera light traps (CLTs). In direct comparison, the recorded moth species richness was similar, but the CLTs were able to leverage their advantages over longer periods of time and recorded more species.

Literary Literacy as Situated Practice: Teacher and Mediator Beliefs in a Writers' House Museum
ABSTRACT This article examines the beliefs of secondary school teachers of ‘Valencian Language and Literature’ (official subject title in Valencian secondary education, where Catalan is officially referred to as Valencian) and of mediators at the Joan Fuster House‐Museum (Sueca, Spain), regarding the literary mediation and literacy practices developed ...

ABSTRACT The characterization of the seasonal dynamics of endophytic bacteria in beech leaves can be hindered by co‐amplification of chloroplast and mitochondrial plant DNA. This study applies established peptide nucleic acid (PNA) clamps to suppress host‐derived amplification while resolving bacterial succession across the vegetative season ...

Response of Ocean Mesoscale Coherent Eddies to Global Warming
Abstract Mesoscale vertically coherent ocean eddies—defined here as eddies maintaining rotational coherence across depth—play a fundamental role in Earth's climate system by redistributing heat, salt, and other tracers. Yet it remains unclear how these eddies will respond to global warming.

Amplified European Future Warming Under Mesoscale‐Resolving Sea Surface Temperature Forcing
Abstract Mesoscale SST features influence the atmospheric circulation via strong air–sea interactions. Yet, their contribution to regional climate change remains uncertain. Using a ∼16‐km global atmospheric model forced with mesoscale‐resolving and ‐smoothed SSTs, we assess the impact on the European winter climate under historical (1960–1979) and ...
