CRITICAL BEHAVIOR FROM SCHRÖDINGER REPRESENTATION
Modern Physics Letters A, 1992The Schrödinger equation for Φ4 field theory is reduced to an infinite set of integral equations. A systematic truncation scheme is proposed and it is solved in second order to obtain the approximate critical behavior of the renormalized mass. The correlation exponent is given as a solution of a transcendental equation.

[Representations, behavior and obesity].
Revue medicale suisse, 2008Dealing with a long term chronic disease necessarily implies changes of behaviour. In the field of obesity, these behaviours concern habits which are very often firmly fixed in patients' lives. The study of patients' representations is of great interest in the medical field.

Semantic representation for emotional-behavioral systems
2013 IEEE 12th International Conference on Intelligent Software Methodologies, Tools and Techniques (SoMeT), 2013The paradigm of intelligent space integrates the knowledge of several scientific fields. The intelligent space approach can be successfully applied for home care of handicapped and elderly people. The use of semantic information proved to be an efficient method for the knowledge integration of different domains.

Representation of Concrete’s Behavior
1986In the previous chapters we introduced the elements of linear viscoelasticity theory. Now, we wish to discuss how this theory is applied to concrete and which are its limitations and the approximations involved. Although the research on the internal structure of cement paste is not the business of structural engineers, some knowledge about it is both ...

On the Thermodynamic Representation of Viscoplastic Material Behavior
Materials: Volume 1 — Design and Manufacture of Composites; Durability and Damage Tolerance of Composites; Finite Deformation Viscoplasticity; Processing, Design, and Performance of Composite Materials, 1995Abstract A thermodynamic formulation of a constitutive theory of viscoplasticity is presented. The purely mechanical constitutive model represents essential viscoplastic effects, such as static hysteresis, cyclic hardening and softening as well as nonlinear rate-dependence, relaxation and creep behavior.

Towards a Formal Representation of Driving Behaviors
2003To successfully perform their required tasks, intelligent information agents require accurate and meaningful communication and integration among other agents and information resources. However, the applications and infrastructure of information technology are rife with heterogeneity at many levels.
