Taurine and Thermoregulation: Behavioral and Cellular Studies
1982According to the generally accepted model of thermoregulation, the temperature of the body is detected by thermosensitive neurons which bring autonomic and behavioral mechanisms into play to counteract any deviation from the optimal state.

Behavioral thermoregulation in the California Sea Lion
Behavioral Biology, 1974Behavioral thermoregulation in the California sea lion, Zalophus californianus, was studied during the summers of 1970 and 1971 on San Nicolas and San Miguel Islands, California. Zalophus has a series of behavioral responses which correlates with the rate of radiant input.

Acetaminophen Effects on Behavioral Thermoregulation in Albino Rats
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1999Acetaminophen (N-Acetyl-p-aminophenol) was administered intra-peritoneally to 15 Sprague-Dawley rats partitioned into 3 studies (5 rats per study) using a within-subjects, repeated-measures reversal design. Behavioral thermoregulation was assessed in a cold Skinner Box using 5-sec.

Alcohol Effects on Behavioral Thermoregulation with Microwave Radiation
Psychological Reports, 1992Ethanol may play an active role in modifying “set point” levels in conjunction with behavioral thermoregulation. A geometric series of doses of ethanol solutions was administered (ip) prior to fixed-interval 2-min. schedules of microwave reinforcement in rats tested in a cold environment.

Aspartame's Effects on Behavioral Thermoregulation in Albino Rats
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1996Aspartame (L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester) was administered intraperitoneally to 9 Sprague-Dawley rats partitioned into 2 studies (4 in Study 1 and 5 for a replication in Study 2) over a two-year period using a within-subjects, repeated-measures reversal design Behavioral thermoregulation was assessed in a cold Skinner Box using 5-sec ...

Behavioral Thermoregulation in Australian Elapid Snakes
Copeia, 1980Behavioral thermoregulation in laboratory thermal gradients was studied in seven species of Australian snakes of the Elapidae: Acanthophis antarcticus, Austrelaps superbus, Notechis scutatus, Pseudechis porphyriacus, Pseudonaja nuchalis, P. textilis and Unechis flagellum.

[Thermoregulation behavior in necrophagous dipteran larvae].
Medecine sciences : M/S, 2018The forensic entomology is the use of insects to date the death. The forensic expert assessment is based on the development of necrophagous insects which are growing on the cadaver, to calculate their age and then estimate the Post-Mortem Interval. This development depends on a number of parameters like temperature, species or behavior.

Mate Selection and Behavioral Thermoregulation in Fowler's Toads
Science, 1981Male Fowler's toads produce mating calls that are affected by the body size and temperature of the caller. Females are able to discriminate between variations in these calls and select the largest available males. By thermoregulation, males are able to alter their calls to make them more attractive to females.
