Exploring the intention-behaviour gap in Artificial Intelligence adoption: the case study of students’ ChatGPT usage in Dutch higher education

open access: yesComputers in Human Behavior: Artificial Humans
This paper investigates the AI intention–behaviour gap in higher education, defined as the misalignment between students' stated intention to use generative AI for study-related purposes and their enacted use. Although behavioural intention is central in

Intention-behaviour gap and perceived behavioural control-behaviour gap in theory of planned behaviour: Moderating roles of communication, satisfaction and trust in organic food consumption

open access: yes, 2020
This study examines the moderating effects of perceived communication, satisfaction and trust on the intention-behaviour gap and the perceived behavioural control (PBC)-behaviour gap in the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) model, using a quantitative ...

Colorectal cancer screening with faecal occult blood testing: Community intention, knowledge, beliefs and behaviour

open access: yes, 2006
The objective of this study was to examine the current community intention, knowledge, beliefs and behaviour regarding colorectal cancer (CRC) screening with faecal occult blood testing (FOBT). A cross sectional telephone survey of the general population

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Purchase intention-based agent for customer behaviours

open access: yesInformation Sciences, 2020
Abstract Simulating human activities remains a challenging problem because the decision-making mechanisms underlying these activities are difficult to reproduce and mimic. In this article, we are interested in the simulation of in-store shoppers whose activities are generally divided into two parts: a walking activity and a purchase activity.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
