The direct and spillover effects of diabetes diagnosis on lifestyle behaviours

AbstractUsing blood sample data we exploit an arbitrary cut‐off of diabetes risk and through a fuzzy regression kink design we estimate the effect of a diabetes diagnosis on own and partner health‐related behaviours. Diabetes diagnosis increases the probability of exercising, both for those diagnosed with diabetes and their partner.

Interfacial Tandem Catalysis Over a CuSn(OH)6/Co Heterostructure Enables Efficient Electroreduction of Nitrate to Ammonia

Interfacial tandem catalysis is developed for efficient electrochemical reduction of NO3− to NH3 over a CuSn(OH)6/Co heterostructure. CuSn(OH)6 accelerates the rate‐determining NO3−‐to‐*NO2 conversion, whereas Co promotes H2O dissociation to enhance *H supply for the rapid hydrogenation of *NO2 intermediate to NH3.
