BeiDou-G2: Past and Present [PDF]
In January 2022, the defunct satellite BeiDou-G2 was pulled out of geostationary orbit by Shijian-21 to a graveyard orbit. For safe docking and operation, it was necessary to determine the rotation state in advance. In this paper, we show the evolution of the rotation of the BeiDou-G2 satellite based on the photometry observation data for the past 10 ...

Synthetic Meta-Signal Observations: The Beidou Case. [PDF]
A Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) meta-signal is obtained when two or more side-band components from different frequencies are jointly processed as a single entity. This requires advanced signal processing techniques able to cope with the subcarrier, generated by the interaction of the side-band components, and handle possibly multi-peaked ...

Design of Beidou timing module
Abstract The Beidou timing module receives the Beidou Satellite Information, calculates the time and positioning information, transmits the time and timing information through various external interfaces, and has the function of short message forwarding. This paper presents a system design scheme for the Beidou time-keeping module, which

Characterization and Performance Assessment of BeiDou-2 and BeiDou-3 Satellite Group Delays
Based on one year of data, a comprehensive assessment of broadcast group delays and differential code biases (DCBs) from network solutions is presented for all open BeiDou signals. Daily DCB estimates exhibit a precision of 0.1 ns, which also places a limit on long-term variations of the satellite group delays.

The BeiDou Navigation Message [PDF]
The article provides an overview of the BeiDou navigation message contents and highlights its specific communalities and differences with respect to other GNSS constellations. Making use of data collected by multi-GNSS monitoring stations of the MGEX and CONGO networks, the quality of BeiDou broadcast ephemerides is assessed through the analysis of ...
