Advanced receiver autonomous integrity monitoring using triple frequency data with a focus on treatment of biases [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Most current Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (ARAIM) methods are designed to use dual-frequency ionosphere-free observations. These methods assume that receiver bias is absorbed in the common receiver clock offset and bound satellite ...

A Robust Stochastic Modelling Approach for Tight Integration of Precise Point Positioning and Ultra‐Wide Band

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
(1) A robust stochastic modelling approach is proposed for PPP/UWB tightly coupled integration using optimised variance component estimation. (2) In our proposed approach, the VCE‐based stochastic model is optimised with a robust estimation strategy and an adaptive moving window filter technique.

Improving BeiDou Global Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3)-Derived Station Coordinates Using Calibrated Satellite Antennas and Station Inter-System Translation Parameters

open access: yesRemote Sensing
The BeiDou global navigation satellite system (BDS-3) has been widely applied in various geodetic applications since its full operation. However, the estimated station coordinates using BDS-3 are less precise compared to GPS results. It contains systematic errors caused by scale bias with respect to International GNSS Service (IGS) 2020 frame and Inter-

Low Profile and Multiband Antenna Based on Binary Encoding and Multiobjective Optimization With Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This paper presents a low profile and multiband antenna based on binary encoding and multiobjective optimization using artificial intelligence (AI). The antenna adopts a single‐arm helical structure on the top layer and two metal parasitic middle layers above the ground. The parasitic layers are composed of 10 × 10 rectangular squares, being similar as

Doppler effects in UAV‐to‐vehicle multipath channels under 6D mobility

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 18, Issue 12, Page 1042-1054, December 2024.
In this paper, a geometry‐based stochastic model framework for U2V communication is studied, with consideration of the movement of a UAV in both three‐dimensional (3D) translational and 3D rotational directions, as well as a ground vehicle capable of moving in arbitrary directions with varying velocities. The Doppler shift expressions for various paths

Midlatitude Plasma Blob‐like Structures Along With Super Equatorial Plasma Bubbles During the May 2024 Great Geomagnetic Storm

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 51, Issue 21, 16 November 2024.
Abstract Plasma blob is generally a low‐latitude phenomenon occurring at the poleward edge of equatorial plasma bubble (EPB) during post‐sunset periods. Here we report a case of midlatitude ionospheric plasma blob‐like structures occurring along with super EPBs over East Asia around sunrise during the May 2024 great geomagnetic storm.

A Gaussian Variogram‐Based Model of Total Electron Content in the Regional Ionosphere of China

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 22, Issue 11, November 2024.
Abstract This study utilizes ionospheric total electron contents (TECs) data from China and its surrounding areas to compute the regional ionospheric semi‐variance using the Gaussian variogram. The regional ionospheric model is then constructed by introducing an additional stochastic term, named adjusted Spherical Harmonics Adding KrigING method ...

Mainlobe and sidelobe jamming suppression method based on distributed array radar with eigen‐projection matrix processing and null constraints

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 11, Page 2212-2221, November 2024.
A mainlobe and sidelobe jamming suppression method with eigen‐projection matrix processing (EMP) and null constraints is proposed based on the distributed array radar. In the proposed method, EMP beamforming is performed in subarrays for sidelobe jamming suppression, and null constraints are applied to suppress the residual jamming in auxiliary arrays.
