We consider some aspects of nonlocal modified gravity, where nonlocality is of the type $R \mathcal{F}(\Box) R$. In particular, using ansatz of the form $\Box R = c R^\gamma,$ we find a few $R(t)$ solutions for the spatially flat FLRW metric.

Mid‐Infrared Quantum Scanning Microscopy via Visible Light Beyond Spatial Correlations
This work introduces a raster‐scanning approach based on quantum imaging with undetected light (QIUL) that probes samples in the mid‐infrared (MIR) spectral range while performing detection in the visible domain. Unlike previous QIUL implementations, this technique operates independently of photon‐pair spatial correlations and relies solely on induced ...

Associations between Fitness Measures and Change of Direction Speeds with and without Occupational Loads in Female Police Officers [PDF]
Female police officers may be required to pursue offenders on foot while wearing occupational loads. The aim of this study was to determine relationships between fitness measures and change of direction speed (CODS) in female police officers and the ...

Magnetoelectric P(VDF‐TrFE) nanocomposites containing CFO or Fe3O4 nanoparticles were developed to generate electroactive microenvironments under magnetic stimulation. At 1 Hz, particularly with 20% CFO, strong antimicrobial effects were observed against E. coli and S. aureus. This approach highlights the potential of magnetically activated surfaces to

The corrosion performance of X12CrMoWVNbN10‐1‐1 steel in chloride environments dramatically depends on pH. Acidic conditions trigger intense surface degradation, whereas neutral and alkaline media foster the formation of a compact and stable passive film, drastically reducing both general and localized corrosion.

We use 57 recently found topological satellites of Broucke-Hadjidemetriou-Henon's periodic orbits with values of the topological exponent $k$ ranging from $k$ = 3 to $k$ = 58 to plot the angular momentum $L$ as a function of the period $T$, with both $L$

Bottom–up and top–down drivers influence urbanization effects on insect herbivory in oaks
Urban forests provide essential ecosystem services, including pest control, biodiversity conservation, and human health benefits. Herbivory is a widespread biotic interaction that shapes ecosystem functions, such as primary productivity and soil fertility, which underpin these services.

Abstract Access to (urban) nature is vital for people's wellbeing, but this accessibility is not evenly spread across socio‐demographic groups, nor across the European continent. This paper fills a research gap by exploring the use patterns and accessibility of forests and parks across European cities, based on a standardised online survey of 10,462 ...

Ongoing Pristina – Belgrade Talks: from Decentralization to Regional Cooperation and Future Perspectives. EDAP 4/2012 [PDF]
On 17 February 2008, Kosovo declared independence, ending its nine years unresolved status. The principal goal was, and remains, the need to involve different communities in the state structures.

Molecular dynamics and experimental analysis show that higher crystallinity in Nafion enhances molecular packing, thereby increasing effective density. A proposed model bridges experimental and molecular‐scale observations by quantitatively linking water uptake to density variations, offering a predictive framework for optimising hydration and ...
