Association Between Prednisone and Delayed Facial Nerve Palsy After Acoustic Neuroma Resection
Discharge with an oral prednisone taper was not associated with a reduced incidence of delayed facial nerve palsy following acoustic neuroma resection, even after rigorous adjustment for confounding using inverse probability weighting. The findings do not support routine prophylactic corticosteroid use for this indication.

Preterm children show high attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) prevalence and frequent sensory processing alterations. ADHD is associated with more severe impairments, particularly in sensory sensitivity, auditory processing, and behavioral domains.

This systematic review and meta‐analysis of 53 studies and 1354 patients evaluates the outcomes of temporalis muscle transfer in facial nerve paralysis. Our results show that temporalis muscle transfer can restore smile asymmetry, oral commissure movement, and eyelid closure—findings that are translated to clinician‐rated assessments.

Bell's palsy: A Case Report and Literature Review
Bell's palsy is considered as a disease of exclusion. It is a form of lower motor neuron paralysis affecting the facial muscles. Rapid onset of paralysis causes panic to the patients. For speedy recovery, correct diagnosis and early treatment are crucial.
