Efficacy of Fumigant and Nonfumigant Nematicides for Belonolaimus longicaudatus Management in Potato

Plant Disease
Belonolaimus longicaudatus (sting nematode) is a yield-limiting plant-parasitic nematode in Florida potato production. Fumigation using 1,3-dichloropropene (1,3-D) at 66 kg a.i./ha is a common practice for managing sting nematode, but effective alternatives are needed.

Damage Functions for Sting Nematode (Belonolaimus longicaudatus) on Bermudagrass Turf

International Turfgrass Society Research Journal, 2017
Sting nematode (Belonolaimus longicaudatus) is one of the most aggressive and damaging parasites of bermudagrass, a widely used turfgrass in the southeastern United States. A damage threshold model for sting nematode on bermudagrass was developed with data collected during a 2‐yr field trial at multiple locations in South Carolina.
