Step kinematic variability, which has been associated with gait-related fall risk, is thought to be attributed to neuromotor noise. Altered neuromotor control of step kinematics would be expected to manifest as changes in the noise-related characteristics of the step kinematic time series.

Finite element analysis of large-belt width conveyor driving roller
2015 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (ICMA), 2015As a key component of the large-belt width conveyor, establishing mechanical model and adopting effective method to improve the design performance of the large-belt width roller is very important. In this paper, mechanical analysis was employed in large-belt width conveyor driving roller for the theoretical foundation of the subsequent analysis.

Influence of anthropogenic aerosols and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation on tropical belt width
Nature Geoscience, 2014The tropical belt has expanded by several degrees latitude over the past 30 years, following an earlier period of contraction. Climate simulations indicate that tropical belt width is controlled by multidecadal sea surface temperature variability associated with the Pacific Decadal Oscillation and anthropogenic aerosols.

Corn Response to Row Width and Plant Population in the Northern Corn Belt
Journal of Production Agriculture, 1997There has been a trend toward narrower row width and an increase in plant population for corn (Zea mays L.) production in the northern Corn Belt. The impact of corn hybrid and plant population on grain yield may be influenced by row width. This study was designed to investigate the relationships between row width, plant population, and hybrid at three ...
