This paper proposes a new approach for solving the optimal power flow (OPF) problem in transmission networks using a Gradient Bald Eagle Search Algorithm (GBES) with a Local Escaping Operator (LEO). The method considers uncertainty from renewable energy sources and Vehicle‐to‐Grid (V2G) in the stochastic OPF problem.

Emaciated enigma: Decline in body conditions of common dolphins in the Celtic Seas ecoregion
The nutritional health of stranded common dolphins in the Celtic Seas ecoregion has recently declined, as evidenced by a decrease in nutritional status and an increase in starvation‐related deaths. Ventral blubber thickness was identified as the most reliable predictor of nutritional status when comparing various morphometric indices using ordinal ...

Abstract The high‐precision prediction of total ionospheric electron content (TEC) is of great significance for improving the accuracy of global navigation satellite systems. There are two problems with the current prediction of TEC: (a) The existing TEC prediction models mainly based on stacked structure, which has insufficient predictive ability when

Methylation‐based markers for the estimation of age in African cheetah, Acinonyx jubatus
Abstract Age is a key demographic in conservation where age classes show differences in important population metrics such as morbidity and mortality. Several traits, including reproductive potential, also show senescence with ageing. Thus, the ability to estimate age of individuals in a population is critical in understanding the current structure as ...

Tunned Least Square Support Vector Regression Analysis on Multi-Additive Improved Recycled Aggregate Concrete [PDF]
Recycled aggregates (RA) may replace natural aggregates (NA) in concrete sustainably. The lack of data makes inspection professionals and stakeholders doubtful of their compressive strength (Cs) predictions.

Abstract Individual age can be used to design more efficient and suitable management plans in both in situ and ex situ conservation programmes for targeted wildlife species. DNA methylation is a promising marker of epigenetic ageing that can accurately estimate age from small amounts of biological material, which can be collected in a minimally ...
