The Lower Triassic platy limestone in the Jajce area (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
The study presents palaeontological and sedimentological data of the Lower Triassic strata of the Jajce area in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Four microfacies types were differentiated: coarse grained bioclastic packstones, fine grained bioclastic packstones,

Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Evaluating Energy Absorption Performance of Filled Lattice Structures
Maximum stress must be considered to robustly evaluate energy absorber designs. This approach was applied to compare all types of absorbers in a single Ashby diagram and determine the utility of filling lattice voids with a second material. High‐performance fillers can improve the performance of lattices that are limited by buckling or catastrophic ...

Examination of a novel wavelet based approach for bender element testing
Presented at the 4th Symposium on Bridge & Infrastructure Research in Ireland, 4-5 December 2008, Galway, IrelandAccurate determination of shear wave arrival time using bender elements may be severely affected by a combination of near field effects and ...

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

Performance Analysis of Abradable Coating Systems for Aircraft Gas Turbines
Three CoNiCrAlY/YSZ/MgAl2O4 abradable liner configurations on a nickel‐superalloy are evaluated by thermal‐gradient cycling and incursion tests. Laser ablation of the bondcoat and/or Y2O3‐stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) intermediate layer increases mechanical interlocking and bonding for thick topcoats.

Elastic Wave Denoising in the Case of Bender Elements Type Piezoelectric Transducers
The accuracy of the wave signal is key to studying physical information inside the soil using bender-element-type piezoelectric transducers. There is too much noise during the elastic wave signal collected by bender elements, which is caused by factors ...

EVALUATION OF DEFORMATION CHARACTERISTICS OF SOIL BY BENDER ELEMENT TEST
