A new carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) anchor is developed and tested to delay debonding in reinforced concrete (RC) beams externally strengthened with FRP laminate/sheet. The C-shape anchor is made from a commercially available CFRP grid.

Bending tensions and the bending rigidity of fluid membranes
It is shown theoretically that the lateral tension associated with bending may in effect reduce the elastic resistance to curvature of fluid membranes. In particular, the spontaneous curvature of surfactant monolayers gives rise to a reduction of the bending rigidity.

Mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (MBGNs) are investigated for bone regeneration given their remarkable structural and functional properties. MBGNs are functionalized with Mn and Cu and incorporated with quercetin, a natural flavonoid exhibiting antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.

A simple, cleanroom‐free method produces flexible mini‐coils using automated blade cutting. The process is fast, low‐cost, and supports diverse materials. The coils show strong durability and performance under repeated bending. Demonstrated use in resistor‐inductor filters and magnetic nanoparticle control proves their adaptability.
