AbstractA stubbed right‐angle H‐plane waveguide bend is proposed and its solution is obtained in analytic series form. The Fourier sine transform is used in the spectral domain to obtain the transmission and reflection coefficients in fast convergent series forms.

The numerical solution of the interior surface Helmholtz integral equation for toroidal pipes is presented. Acoustic surface pressures of various pipes in the shape of a quarter torus were calculated. Sound attenuation spectra of pipes possessing different bend sharpnesses are presented.

Influence of forefoot bending stiffness on American football performance and metatarsophalangeal joint bending angle

Changes in forefoot bending stiffness have been shown to affect metatarsophalangeal peak bending angles as well as athletic performance. Increasing bending stiffness tends to reduce peak bending angles, which could potentially reduce hyperextension injuries such as turf toe.
