Study of component high cycle bending fatigue based on a new critical distance approach
Engineering Failure Analysis, 2019In this article, high-cycle bending fatigue limit load prediction of several sets of high-strength steel crankshafts are conducted based on the critical distance (TCD)approach.

Stress redistribution during bending fatigue
Experimental Mechanics, 1961One of the effects of the application of cyclic stress, in most metals, is a change in stiffness. Some materials become harder while others initially soften as increasing numbers of cyclic stress are imposed. The effect of this changing stiffness on the distribution of stress during bending fatigue is examined.

Bending Fatigue Analysis of PM Gears
Key Engineering Materials, 2017The paper discusses the computational and experimental approach for determination of the PM gears service life concerning bending fatigue in a gear tooth root. A proposed computational model is based on the stress-life approach where the stress field in a gear tooth root is determined numerically using FEM.

Bending fatigue characteristics of wire rope
Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, 2012Wire rope in elevators can become disconnected by tensile stress from friction between the rope and sheave, and by repeated stress including bending stress from various effects formed during contact between the rope and sheave. It is known that in designing wire rope, its strength is affected when wire disconnection occurs.

Study of isothermal bending fatigue test
2009 International Conference on Electronic Packaging Technology & High Density Packaging, 2009TC test is very important for solder joint reliability, but the test time for TC test is very long, normally it cost about 2 months. In order to shorten TC test time, many researchers study the new test method to replace traditional TC test, such as bending fatigue test. However, there's still some limit for this field study.

Bending Fatigue of Carburized Steels
1996Abstract Bending fatigue of carburized steel components is a result of cyclic mechanical loading. This article reviews the alloying and processing factors that influence the microstructures and bending fatigue performance of carburized steels.

Dynamic Reciprocating Bending Fatigue of Webbing
Textile Research Journal, 1995Bending fatigue as a possible cause of degradation of textile webbings has been investigated using a dynamic bending apparatus. Changes in strength and thickness due to dynamic bending fatigue were measured on webbings used in automotive pas senger restraints (seat belts). Influences of abrasion and webbing tension were also considered.
