VHCF Properties of A7075-T651 Al Alloy Depending on Shot Peening and Fatigue Testing Methods
Fatigue characteristics of A7075-T651 aluminum material were studied with surface treatment of shot peening. The fatigue life was characterized by two fatigue testing methods, ultrasonic fatigue test (UFT, 20 kHz) and the rotary-bending fatigue test (RFT,

Bending Fatigue Strength of Spur Gears in Low-Cycle Range
This paper presents a study on bending fatigue strength of spur gears in low-cycle range. The calculating methods for adjacent-tooth gaps and the circumferential load, under which adjacent-tooth contacts occur due to the deflections of meshing teeth, are introduced. The validity of these calculating methods is confirmed by carrying out a static loading

MAGTWIST: A compact magnetic rotary actuator, enabling smooth, stepless rotation, and on‐demand locking. Inspired by peristalsis, a soft polymer belt generates a traveling‐wave, enabling 270° rotation when heated. Cooling stiffens the belt, locking it in position and enabling it to withstand high loads.

Analisis Uji Ketahanan Lelah Baja Karbon Sedang Aisi 1045 Dengan Heat Treatment (Quenching) Dengan Menggunakan Alat Rotary Bending [PDF]
Fatigue is the one of the main cause from of the material failure. The main of cause failure 90 % caused fatigue. Fatigue is material sructure process changes that is caused by repeatly load (stress or shear) in a long period of time so it occured ...

The bending fatigue strength and the bending fatigue breakage of straight bevel gears of Gleason type were investigated by carrying out bending fatigue tests (Wohler method) using a bevel gear pulsator of hydraulic type. The bending fatigue limit loads were also determined using the progressive load increase methods proposed by Prot, Henry and others ...
