齿条型刀具对齿轮弯曲疲劳强度的影响分析

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2011
With the development of lightweight gear, the requirements of bending fatigue strength of gear teeth are increasingly high.Combined with the equation of tooth profile and the ANSYS Parametric Design Language(APDL),the parameterization finite element model

Experimental investigation of concrete fatigue resistance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A lack of knowledge on the fatigue resistance of self-compacting concrete (SCC) structures has led to the research presented in this paper. Several reinforced concrete beams were subjected to both static and cyclic four-point bending tests in order to ...

Static strength and rotating bending fatigue strength of aluminum-lithium alloys.

open access: yesJournal of the Society of Materials Science, Japan, 1990
Tensile properties and fatigue strength under rotating bending were investigated on two aluminum-lithium alloys, 2090 and 8090, and the results were compared with conventional aluminum alloys, 2024-T4 and 7075-T6511.The proof stress and tensile strength of Al-Li alloys were approximately the same as those of 2024 alloy, but were lower than those of ...

Establishment of unified fatigue design maps for different types of fracture mode of single-sided fillet welded T-joints

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2015
Pure bending fatigue tests were conducted with single-sided fillet welded T-joint specimens. Two load conditions, which were given the tensile and compressive stresses in the weld toe, were applied, and fatigue strengths at 2×106 cycles were determined ...

Experimental analysis of manufacturing parameters’ effect on the flexural properties of wood-PLA composite parts built through FFF [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This paper aims to determine the flexural stiffness and strength of a composite made of a polylactic acid reinforced with wood particles, named commercially as Timberfill, manufactured through fused filament fabrication (FFF).

Probabilistic Estimation of Fatigue Strength for Axial and Bending Loading in High-Cycle Fatigue

open access: yesMaterials, 2020
In this paper, the sensitivity to the type of loads (axial and bending loading) of selected construction materials (AW6063 T6 aluminum alloy, S355J2+C structural steel, and 1.4301 acid-resistant steel) in high-cycle fatigue was verified. The obtained S-N fatigue characteristics were described by a probabilistic model of the 3-parameters Weibull ...

A Versatile Engineering Platform for the Fabrication of Prosthetic Venous Valves Using Electrospinning

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Percutaneous prosthetic venous valves are fabricated by embedding stents in an electrospun matrix that extends luminally to form leaflets. The design shields leaflets from hyperplastic cells, isolates struts from blood contact, and avoids discrete anchoring points.
