Benefactive Constructions in Japanese
Two Japanese benefactive constructions are explored in the article: converb form of the verb -te/-de plus kudasaru and converb form of the verb -te/-de plus kureru. Semantic verb subclasses, capable of generating those constructions, are analyzed.
