Benign fibrous histiocytoma of bone
The American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 1985The clinical, radiologic, and pathological features of eight cases of fibrohistiocytic bone lesions histologically identical to the nonossifying fibroma of childhood are presented. They differed from the childhood lesion in their clinical and radiological features.

Benign Fibrous Histiocytoma of Prepuce in the Mule
Reproduction in Domestic Animals, 2004ContentsHere we present a case of preputial benign fibrous histiocytoma in a 7‐year‐old mule. This case was treated surgically. Pathologic analysis and diagnosis of these lesions were based on a combination of light microscopy and immunohistochemistry.

Immunohistochemistry of dermatofibromas and benign fibrous histiocytomas
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 1995Dermatofibromas (DF) are common, benign skin tumors composed predominantly of cells having elongated nuclei and very scant cytoplasm (i.e., fibroblasts) and capillaries in a collagenous stroma. Some authors distinguish DF from benign fibrous histiocytomas (BFH), which are composed of cells with round to oval nuclei and abundant cytoplasm (i.e ...

Benign Fibrous Histiocytoma in Hodgkin's Disease
Cancer Investigation, 1984A case of benign fibrous histiocytoma in a patient with previous Hodgkin's disease is reported. Benign fibrous histiocytoma consists of a proliferation of benign histiocytes in addition to inflammatory cells and occasional Reed-Sternberg-like cells.

Benign Fibrous Histiocytoma of the Frontal Bone
Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, 2016Benign fibrous histiocytoma rarely occurs in bone and may affect femur, tibia, and pelvic bone. The authors report here a patient concerning a 11-year-old girl with a 28-day history of an enlarging frontal bone mass. The tumor was excised after removal of the cortical bone and resection of the tumor surrounding the cortical bone erosion using ...

Benign Fibrous Histiocytoma of the Renal Capsule
Acta Pathologica Japonica, 1992The first case of benign fibrous histiocytoma of the renal capsule is reported in a male aged 44 years. The tumor had its point of origin in the renal capsule. Histologically, the tumor was composed of intersecting fascicles of fibro‐blastic cells forming a loose crisscross or “storiform” pattern.

Benign Fibrous Histiocytoma of the Small Intestine in a Cow
Journal of Comparative Pathology, 2004A well circumscribed, firm nodule was found protruding from the duodenal wall of an adult cow at routine meat inspection. On the basis of morphological and immunophenotypic features, a diagnosis of benign fibrous histiocytoma (BFH) was established. Malignant fibrous histiocytoma has been reported previously in the cow, albeit rarely, but to the best of

The ultrastructure of benign and malignant fibrous histiocytomas
Histopathology, 1980Five benign histiocytomas of varying pattern and three malignant fibrous histiocytomas have been studied ultrastructurally. An essentially biphasic pattern of histiocytes and fibroblasts was present. In addition fibrohistiocytes, myofibroblasts and undifferentiated cells were present in some of the tumours.
