The FindMNDBiomarker Program: Protein Changes in Motor Neuron Disease/Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Postmortem Tissue and Biofluids

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective Biomarkers of disease pathogenesis are critically needed for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) to facilitate diagnosis and patient stratification into appropriate therapeutic trials. Proteomic studies offer significant potential to advance this, but reproducibility across laboratories is a key component toward identifying protein changes ...

N‐Amino Peptide–Graphene Quantum Dot Loaded Small Extracellular Vesicles for Targeted Therapy of Tauopathies

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
A neuron‐targeting drug delivery system is developed by incorporating the tau‐specific N‐amino peptide, mxyl‐NAP2, with graphene quantum dots (GQDs) and encapsulating the complex into small extracellular vesicles functionalized with a neuron‐targeting ligand.

Photocatalytic Synthesis of Unprotected Sulfonimidamides and Their Application in Photochemical Nitrene Transfer Reactions

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A visible‐light‐driven, metal‐free nitrene transfer enables the efficient synthesis of unprotected sulfonimidamides from sulfinamides and hydroxylamine‐derived reagents, offering broad substrate scope, late‐stage functionalization, and access to complex sulfur–nitrogen scaffolds.

Nanodroplet‐Array‐Plattform zur integrierten Synthese und Screening von MEK Inhibitoren: Ein miniaturisierter Ansatz für die frühe Pharmaforschung

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Wir präsentieren eine Nanodroplet‐Array‐Plattform, die die Integration von Festphasensynthese, MALDI‐MS‐Analyse und zellbasiertem Screening von 325 potenziellen MEK‐Inhibitoren (Mitogen‐aktivierte‐Proteinkinase‐Kinase) in Nanoliter‐Volumina ermöglicht.

Distance‐Dependence of Photo‐CIDNP in Biomimetic Tryptophan–Flavin Diads

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
NMR and MRI are crucial in sciences, but their low sensitivity limits their use. Photochemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization (photo‐CIDNP) offers a solution. This study explores structure‐photo‐CIDNP relationships in liquid‐state NMR using biomimetic tryptophan–flavin diads with varying oligoproline linker lengths.
