Green Fluorescent Protein SELEX: Immobilization Chemistry and His‐Tag Epitope Bias
Using green fluorescent proteins (GFP) as a target for SELEX, the untagged protein results in true protein‐binding aptamers, whereas using the His‐tagged protein results in aptamers biased toward the His‐tag epitope. The His‐tagged GFP provides a simple test for potential artifacts in previously selected aptamers for other His‐tagged proteins ...

Chiral Induction and Memory via Supramolecular Deracemization
The helical chirality of a dynamic crown‐ether switch can, by light‐ or redox‐switching to a prochiral state, be erased and subsequently stereoselectively re‐formed by relaxation in the presence of a point‐chiral ammonium guest. This unique supramolecular deracemization enables facile transfer and stable memory of chiral information. Abstract Chirality

A zeolite‐catalyzed strategy enables size‐selective monoacetalization of sugars and polyols in a single step by leveraging pore confinement to distinguish between mono‐ and multi‐substituted species. This broadly applicable method avoids protection steps and excess reagents, opening new routes to bio‐based amphiphiles with strong surface activity and ...

Mechanochemical Degradation of Polystyrene Into Benzene for Recycling and Upcycling
Mechanochemical degradation of polystyrene into benzene through ball milling is demonstrated for the first time. The benzene generated can be used to synthesize the styrene monomer for a closed‐loop recycling or be converted into benzophenone through a mechanochemical cascade Friedel–Crafts acylation for upcycling.
