Benthic foraminiferal assemblages of the Erdek Bay (SW Marmara Sea) [Erdek Körfezi (GB Marmara Denizi) bentik foraminifer topluluklari]

2019
The distribution and assemblages of recent benthic foraminifera in the Gulf of Erdek (SW Marmara Sea) were investigated on the basis of 15 surface sediment samples. These are generally characterized by the lithologies of gravel, sand and mud. A total of 74 species belonging to 24 families and 46 genera were determined from these samples.

Benthic foraminiferal biostratigraphy of the Eocene (Lutetian) sediments of the Dinar (Afyon) region [Dinar (Afyon) yöresi Eosen (Lütesiyen) sedimanlarinin bentik foraminifer biyostratigrafisi]

2019
The study area is located at the center of Dinar (Afyon) town and surrounding. The stratigraphic sequence of Dinar and surrounding area has Mesozoic units at the base and Cainozoic clastics and carbonate from bottom to top.
