Molecular Insights Into the Water Freezing on Kaolinite Surfaces: The Key Role of Surface Properties
ABSTRACT Unfrozen water content is a key factor governing the physical properties of frozen soils, and variations in mineral surface properties play a critical role in determining this content. However, the fundamental physical mechanisms of how different mineral surfaces affect soil water freezing remain poorly understood.

ABSTRACT Under continued climate warming, understanding present‐day permafrost distribution and the controls on ground thaw are critical for predicting permafrost thaw trajectories and associated implications. This study presents a high‐resolution investigation of permafrost extent and active layer thickness (ALT) across a coniferous forested hillslope

Adsorption of Lead by Bentonite Clay
Removal of heavy metals from industrial waste water is a worldwide challenge. Inorganic pollutants are difficult to treat as they are non-biodegradable, hence they remain in nature. Such pollutant when enters the food cycle, affect human, plant, animal lives and aquatic systems.
