Single Crystals of Perylene Diimide‐Based Two‐Dimensional Covalent Organic Frameworks
Synthesizing extended crystals of two‐dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D COFs) has remained a major challenge. Here, we report a high‐temperature double‐modulator strategy that provides access to new perylene diimide (PDI)‐based COFs with crystal sizes of up to 50 µm.

Towards sympathetic cooling of large molecules: Cold collisions between benzene and rare gas atoms
This paper reports on calculations of collisional cross sections for the complexes Z-CDH6 (X = 3He, 4He, Ne) at temperatures in the range 1)μK - 10K and shows that relatively large cross sections in the 103-105Å2 range are available for collisional ...

Improved syntheses of halogenated benzene-1,2,3,4-tetracarboxylic diimides
The preparation of halogenated benzene-1,2,3,4-tetracarboxylic diimide derivatives is challenging because of the possibility of competitive incorrect cyclizations and SNAr reactivity.

Novel Hierarchical Fe(III)-Doped Cu-MOFs With Enhanced Adsorption of Benzene Vapor
New hierarchical Fe(III)-doped Cu-MOFs (Fe-HK) were developed via introduction of Fe3+ ions during HKUST-1 synthesis. The obtained products were characterized by N2 adsorption, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive ...

Revised recommendation for an occupational exposure standard for benzene [PDF]
"The update criteria and recommendations for a revised benzene standard to that of August 1976 are given. NIOSH considers the accumulated evidence from clinical as well as from epidemiologic data to be conclusive at this time that benzene is leukemogenic.

Comparative benzene-induced fatty acid changes in a Rhodococcus species and its benzene-sensitive mutant:possible role of myristic and oleic acids in tolerance [PDF]
A Gram positive bacterium of the genus Rhodococcus was isolated from a contaminated site in Sydney, Australia, for its ability to tolerate and degrade high concentrations of benzene. To identify fatty acids that may impart this Rhodococcus sp.

Thiolated Polymers in 3D Bioprinting: Control of Gelation
Thiolated polymers are established as programmable bioinks for 3D bioprinting, integrating versatile crosslinking chemistries with redox‐responsive control. This work demonstrates how molecular design and external triggers define gelation kinetics, printability windows, and structural fidelity, enabling stable, high‐resolution constructs and advancing ...
