This schematic illustrates how probiotics‐derived postbiotics (PLBK®1–5) combat high‐fat diet‐induced obesity. Postbiotics remodel gut microbiota, boosting beneficial metabolites. These metabolites activate adipocyte thermogenesis (Ucp1/AMPK pathway), resulting in reduced body weight, improved insulin sensitivity, and alleviated hepatic steatosis in ...

On atom-bond connectivity molecule structure descriptors [PDF]
The atom-bond connectivity index (ABC) is a degree-based molecular structure descriptor with well-documented chemical applications. In 2010 a distance-based new variant of this index (ABCGG) has been proposed. Until now, the relation between ABC

Salt‐induced nutritional and metabolic shifts in halophytes: implications for food security
Abstract Plant species vary in their response to salinity: some crops show a degree of salt tolerance, while halophytes – whether wild or cultivated – are characterized by a high capacity to thrive under saline conditions. Halophytes are considered a source of valuable secondary metabolites with potential economic value, yet they might also produce ...

Effecft of co‐doping polyaniline with phosphoric acid and phytic acid on the heat release rate of polyethylene. Abstract Polyolefins, such as polyethylene (PE), are highly flammable and electrically insulative, limiting their applicability. The study explored the flame‐retardancy and electrical conductivity of PE/polyaniline (PE/PANI) nanocomposites ...

Electronic structure of solid coronene: differences and commonalities to picene
We have obtained the first-principles electronic structure of solid coronene, which has been recently discovered to exhibit superconductivity with potassium doping. Since coronene, along with picene, the first aromatic superconductor, now provide a class

Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract The highly threatened African cycad genus Encephalartos faces severe threats such as habitat loss and poaching. In addition, the lack of sexual recruitment due to the absence of pollinators (pollinator collapse) has emerged as another major threat.

The locating-chromatic number and partition dimension of fibonacene graphs
Fibonacenes are unbranched catacondensed benzenoid hydrocarbons in which all the non-terminal hexagons are angularly annelated. A hexagon is said to be angularly annelated if the hexagon is adjacent to exactly two other hexagons and possesses two ...

QSPR analiza polarografskih poluvalnih redukcijskih potencijala benzenoidnih ugljikovodika [PDF]
Correlation between the polarographic half-wave reduction potentials and the set of molecular descriptors of lower benzenoid hydrocarbons was made by the CROMRsel modeling procedure. The following descriptors were used in the modeling procedure: electron

The first comparative analysis of Magnolia scents reveals that M. wufengensis is characterised by a high aldehyde content, exhibiting a fresh, sweet, and fruity fragrance profile. Furthermore, freeze‐drying preserves 6.7 times more 2‐nonenal compared to shade‐drying, highlighting its superior efficacy in retaining key volatile compounds.
