Installation, repair, retrieval, and economic returns of S3DI systems in corn and cotton rotations

Abstract The use of shallow subsurface drip irrigation (S3DI) systems in row crops can be economically favorable, provided the system remains in the field without major repairs for a substantial period. This research documents installation, repairs, retrieval, and partial economic returns of S3DI systems in service for 4, 5, 6, and 8 years.

CDK7 as a Potential Exploratory Biomarker for Distinguishing Acute Myocardial Infarction Subtypes via DDR Pathways: Evidence From a Bangladeshi Cohort

Differential expression of DNA damage response genes was evaluated in Bangladeshi AMI patients. CDK7 showed significantly higher expression in NSTEMI compared to STEMI, while ATM, OGG1, and NBN showed no subtype‐specific differences, highlighting potential transcriptional heterogeneity between AMI subtypes.

KCNK16 Deficiency Deteriorates Body Growth and Diet‐Independently Decreases Lipid Accumulation in Mice

Loss of KCNK16 in mice alters β‐cell insulin secretion dynamics leading to increased pancreatic insulin content and decreased circulating IGF‐1. Furthermore, body growth and adiposity were reduced independent of dietary interventions. Despite these changes, overall glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity remain largely preserved.
