Some results related with statistical convergence and Berezin symbols

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2004
A functional Hilbert space is a Hilbert space \(\mathcal{H}\) of complex-valued functions on some set \(\Omega\) such that the evaluation functional \(f \to f(\lambda)\) is continuous for each \(\lambda \in \Omega\). Moreover, for each \(\lambda \in \Omega\) there exists a unique function \(k_{\lambda} \in \mathcal{H}\) such that \(f(\lambda) = (f, k_{\

Boundary behavior of Berezin symbols and related results

open access: yesFilomat, 2019
For a given function ? ? H? with |?(z)| < 1 (z ? D), we associate some special operators subspace and study some properties of these operators including behavior of their Berezin symbols. It turns that such boundary behavior is closely related to the Blaschke condition of sequences in the unit disk D of the complex plane.

Reproducing Kernels and Berezin Symbols Techniques in Various Questions of Operator Theory

open access: yesComplex Analysis and Operator Theory, 2012
Given a functional Hilbert space, the author of the paper under review studies various problems with the help of the corresponding Berezin transform. The notions of Berezin number and Berezin set are introduced. The techniques are applied to the study of invariant subspaces and a uniqueness theorem related to the distance function is obtained.

Calibration of Flow Cytometers Enables Reproducible Measurements of Extracellular Vesicle Concentrations and Reference Range Establishment. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Extracell Vesicles
ABSTRACT The concentration of cells is a key component of modern blood tests. Given the biomarker potential of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in blood, we aimed to establish reference ranges for blood cell‐derived EVs using flow cytometry. To address the orders‐of‐magnitude variability in reported EV concentrations between different flow cytometers (FCMs)

Use of reproducing kernels and Berezin symbols technique in some questions of operator theory

open access: yesForum Mathematicum, 2012
We give in terms of Berezin symbols some characterizations for the operators belonging to the Schatten-von Neumann classes sigma(p), 0 < p < +infinity, which were motivated by the questions posed by Nordgren and Rosenthal [7]. Some other problems related with the multiplicative equality for Berezin symbols are also discussed.

The nation in bronze and granite: Creating national monuments in post‐Soviet Bishkek

open access: yesNations and Nationalism, Volume 29, Issue 2, Page 648-668, April 2023., 2023
Abstract Scholars of nationalism have long looked to material forms of symbolic power to understand the politics and cultures of nations, and national monuments specifically have been studied as reflections of ideological programmes of political regimes. However, these approaches have paid insufficient attention to processes of creation.

Fredholm and Schatten Class Operators on Bergman Spaces with Exponential Weights

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
In this paper, we give a characterization of Fredholmness of the Toeplitz operators on the Bergman spaces Aφp with exponential weights in D when 0 < p < ∞. Also, we obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions which the Toeplitz and Hankel operators on Aφ2 belong to h‐Schatten class, where h is a continuous increasing convex function.

Mobilizing the Past in Revolutionary Times: Memory, Counter‐Memory, and Nostalgia During the Lebanese Uprising

open access: yesSociological Forum, Volume 37, Issue S1, Page 1387-1413, December 2022., 2022
Social movement studies have addressed the issue of nostalgia within two perspectives, focusing, respectively, on emotions and on memory. Our contribution looks at nostalgia in social movements by building upon the combination of these two streams in social movement studies.

Increasing the scope of the resazurin‐resorufin smart tracer system in hydrologic and biogeochemical sciences: The effects of storage duration and temperature on preservation

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography: Methods, Volume 20, Issue 11, Page 701-709, November 2022., 2022
Abstract The resazurin (raz)‐resorufin (rru) smart tracer system has led to significant advances in hydrologic and biogeochemical sciences but its application has been limited in scope and geography by the short duration that it has been assumed samples can be reliably stored before analysis.
