Bergman Spaces on Disconnected Domains
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1996AbstractFor a bounded region G ⊂ ℂ and a compact set K ⊂ G, with area measure zero, we will characterize the invariant subspaces ℳ (under ƒ → zƒ) of the Bergman space (G \ K), 1 ≤ p < ∞, which contain (G) and with dim(ℳ/(z - λ)ℳ) = 1 for all λ ∈ G \ K.

THE BERGMAN METRIC ON TEICHMÜLLER SPACE
International Journal of Mathematics, 2004We give a simple proof of a theorem of McMullen on Kähler hyperbolicity of moduli space of Riemann surfaces by using the Bergman metric on Teichmüller space.

On the Hilbert Transform in Bergman Space
Mathematical Notes, 2001This paper determines the image of the Bergman \(L^2\) space of a simply connected planar domain with Jordan boundary under the Hilbert transform.

Toeplitz Operators on Bergman Spaces
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1982Let G be a bounded, open, connected, non-empty subset of the complex plane C. We put the usual two dimensional (Lebesgue) area measure on G and consider the Hilbert space L2(G) that consists of the complex-valued, measurable functions defined on G that are square integrable. The inner product on L2(G) is given by the norm ‖h‖2 of a function h in L2(G)

On the Coefficient Multipliers of Bergman Spaces
Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 1994The Bergman space \(A^ p\) is the space of analytic \(L^ p\) functions in the unit disk with respect to the area measure \((0 ...

Isometries of Weighted Bergman Spaces
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1982In [2], [8] and [10], Forelli, Rudin and Schneider described the isometries of the Hp spaces over balls and polydiscs. Koranyi and Vagi [6] noted that their methods could be used to describe the isometries of the Hp spaces over bounded symmetric domains.

Coorbit Theory and Bergman Spaces
2013Coorbit theory arose as an attempt to describe in a unified fashion the properties of the continuous wavelet transform and the STFT (Short-time Fourier transform) by taking a group theoretical viewpoint. As a consequence H.G. Feichtinger and K.H. Grochenig have established a rather general approach to atomic decomposition for families of Banach spaces (

Zero Multipliers of Bergman Spaces
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1985AbstractThis paper proves that if р < s, then 0 is the only function that multiplies a Bergman Lр space into a Bergman Ls space.

A Factoring Theorem for The Bergman Space
Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 1994The paper under review is a condensed version of the author's previous work [J. Reine Angew. Math. 422, 45-68 (1991; Zbl 0734.30040)], establishing a factorization theory for the Bergman space \(L^ 2_ a(D)\). (This is the standard Bergman space consisting of functions analytic in the unit disk \(D\) and square area-integrable over \(D\).) This shorter ...
