Berriasian (Lower Cretaceous) brachiopods from the Crimea

Stratigraphy and Geological Correlation, 2006
Four successive assemblages of Berriasian brachiopods distinguished for the first time in the Crimea are correlated with concurrent subdivisions of the ammonoid scale. Berriasian brachiopods are represented by 44 species of 27 genera and 14 families, which are most complete in terms of taxonomic composition as compared to other concurrent brachiopod ...

Palaeobiogeography of Early Cretaceous (Berriasian–Barremian) calcareous nannoplankton

Marine Micropaleontology, 2000
In order to assess Early Cretaceous nannoplankton biogeography, we studied a series of sites which provide a north-south transect across the Atlantic Ocean, supplemented by sections from the North Sea Basin, Barents Sea, Falkland Plateau, Weddell Sea (Antarctica), Argo Abyssal Plain (NW of Australia) and Neuquen Basin (Argentina).
