Sign Competing Sources of Berry Curvature and Anomalous Hall Conductance Humps in Topological Ferromagnets

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 11, Issue 18, November 4, 2025.
Mechanism proposed for the humps in topological ferromagnet. a) Hysteresis loops of σxy in external uniaxial magnetic field Hz and b) Anomalous Hall conductivity σxy as a function of polar angle θ. Data for |h⃗|$|\vec{h}|$ = 3t and λR/t = 0.08. A, B, and C are the states of the 2D topological ferromagnets.

Tunable Anomalous Hall Effect in Non‐Magnetic Topological Semimetal Cd3As2 Nanoplates

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 11, Issue 18, November 4, 2025.
A gate‐tunable anomalous Hall effect (AHE) is demonstrated in the non‐magnetic Dirac semimetal Cd3As2, with maximal anomalous Hall resistivity near the Dirac point. Scaling fitting reveals that the AHE originates from intrinsic Berry curvature, offering insights into potential applications in topological electronic devices.

Behavioral Adaptation to Improved Environmental Quality: Evidence From a Sanitation Intervention

open access: yesHealth Economics, Volume 34, Issue 11, Page 2037-2058, November 2025.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates behavioral adaptation to local improvements in environmental quality. Using exogenous variation in village sanitation coverage generated by the randomised allocation of financial incentives to latrine construction in Lao PDR, we find that the generalized adoption of improved sanitation led to significant reductions in ...

New remains of Titanochelon richardi (Testudines, Testudinidae) from the Upper Miocene of the Vallès‐Penedès Basin: taxonomic and phylogenetic implications

open access: yesPapers in Palaeontology, Volume 11, Issue 6, November/December 2025.
Abstract The alpha‐taxonomy of continental giant tortoises (Testudinidae, Titanochelon) from the European Neogene is far from settled, which has implications for inferring their phylogenetic relationships. The diagnosis of the type species (Titanochelon bolivari) is dubious because it considered Titanochelon richardi as a junior subjective synonym ...

Effects of the P2RX4 antagonist BR11595 in a guinea pig model of chronic asthma

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 182, Issue 21, Page 5378-5390, November 2025.
Abstract Background and Purpose Asthma is characterized by airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR), allergic inflammation, and airway remodelling. Although recent studies have shown that asthma pathophysiology involves P2X4 receptor activation, a potential link with chronic asthma remains to be explored.
