Trust and Income Among Immigrants in Europe

open access: yesKyklos, Volume 78, Issue 4, Page 1496-1513, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Social trust, a key cultural trait influencing economic behavior, plays a critical yet understudied role in immigrant integration. This paper examines how trust, both as an individual disposition and as a culturally inherited norm, relates to the economic integration of immigrants in Europe, measured by household income.

PME10 Is a Pectin Methylesterase Driving PME Activity and Immunity Against Botrytis cinerea in Grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.)

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 23, Issue 11, Page 4981-4997, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Botrytis cinerea (Bc) is a major pathogen of cultivated grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.), with cell wall (CW) remodelling playing a critical role in fungal colonisation. CW‐modifying enzymes, particularly pectin methylesterases (PMEs), produced by both host and pathogen, influence CW integrity and the outcome of infection.

Overnight deep inspiration patterns in obstructive sleep apnea patients with and without asthma

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 13, Issue 21, November 2025.
Abstract Asthma and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) often co‐occur, exacerbating respiratory difficulties and altering airway physiology during sleep. Respiratory obstructions in OSA usually terminate with deep inspiration, and in asthma, deep inspiration may function as a bronchodilator or induce bronchoconstriction.

Integration of response surface methodology (RSM), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) for enhancing properties of polymeric nanocomposites‐A review

open access: yesPolymer Composites, Volume 46, Issue 15, Page 13591-13627, 20 October 2025.
AI/ML and RSM‐Driven Optimization of Polymeric Nanocomposites for Enhanced Properties. Abstract This review elucidates the amalgamation of machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and response surface methodology (RSM) for the optimization of fabrication and the enhancement of the properties of polymeric nanocomposites.
