Statistical Evaluation of Ammonium Hydrofluoride Process for Beryllium Extraction from Indian Beryl Ore

open access: yes, 2013
Extraction of beryllium from Indian beryl ore using ammonium hydrofluoride as fluorinating agent was studied and optimized. This is process seems to be potentially promising for Indian beryl ore for extraction of beryllium.

‘You Load Sixteen Tons, What Do You Get?’. The Jodłowno Hoard (Pomerania, Poland) as Evidence of Long‐Distance Contacts in the Early Iron Age

open access: yesArchaeometry, Volume 68, Issue 2, Page 193-211, April 2026.
ABSTRACT This study presents multifaceted analyses of metal artefacts from the Jodłowno Hoard (Northern Poland), revealing that the metal originated from Iberian polymetallic ore deposits. Transported as raw ingots via Atlantic maritime routes, this copper was reworked locally into regionally distinctive forms.

Contact Metamorphism in Southern California [PDF]

open access: yes, 1954
A highly condensed introduction to "Contact metamorphism in southern California" is obviously not the place in which to indulge in semantic niceties nor to engage in terminological tussles, and thus the title is not intended to reflect a carefully ...

Sectrographic determination of yttrium or lanthanum in beryllium-copper alloys

open access: yesBUNSEKI KAGAKU, 1963
An oxide d-c excitation method using internal standards was applied successfully for the spectrographic determination of yttrium or lanthanum in beryllium- copper alloys. A series of standards covering 0.01 to 1.0% of each element with respect to yttrium or lanthanum is prepared in nitric acid solution.

Boron Abundances in Main Sequence B-type Stars: A Test of Rotational Depletion during Main Sequence Evolution [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Boron abundances have been derived for seven main sequence B-type stars from HST STIS spectra around the B III 2066 A line. In two stars, boron appears to be undepleted with respect to the presumed initial abundance.

On the nature of Lithium-rich giant stars: constraints from Beryllium abundances [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We have derived beryllium abundances for 7 Li-rich giant (A(Li) > 1.5) stars and 10 other Li-normal giants, with the aim of investigating the origin of the Lithium in the Li-rich giants.
