On the Jackson type inequality in the dyadic BMO space

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2009
In this paper the direct theorem of the approximation theory for functions from the dyadic Besov space is proved. Together with the inverse theorem, it allows to solve an interpolation problem between dyadic BMO and the dyadic Besov space.

Weighted holomorphic Besov spaces on the polydisk

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2011
This work is an introduction of weighted Besov spaces of holomorphic functions on the polydisk. Let Un be the unit polydisk in Cn and S be the space of functions of regular variation.

Local Well‐Posedness for the Fourth‐Order Schrödinger Equation With Quadratic Derivative Nonlinearities in Fourier–Lebesgue Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We investigate the Cauchy problem for the fourth‐order Schrödinger equation with quadratic nonlinearities involving second‐order derivatives: uxxu, uxxū, (ux)2, uūxx, and |ux|2, where u = u(x, t) is a complex‐valued function defined on R×R. The flow map of this Cauchy problem with the nonlinear terms uxxu or uxxū fails to be C2 differentiable at zero ...

Random Gel′fand Approximation Between Anisotropic Spaces and Function Spaces With Mixed Smoothness

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper investigates the complexity associated with function approximation between anisotropic spaces and spaces of mixed smoothness within the framework of adaptive Monte Carlo methods. Specifically, we analyze the information complexity for approximating function classes of mixed smoothness Fmix,pr(1 ≤ p < ∞) in anisotropic spaces FqR(1 ≤ q ...

Global Solvability of the Generalized Navier−Stokes System in Critical Besov Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper is devoted to the global solvability of the Navier−Stokes system with a fractional Laplacian (−Δ)α in Rn for n ≥ 2, where the convective term has the form (|u|m−1u)·∇u for m ≥ 1. By establishing the estimates for the difference u1m−1u1−u2m−1u2 in homogeneous Besov spaces and employing the maximal regularity property of (−Δ)α in Lorentz−Besov

Quasi‐invariance of Gaussian measures for the 3d$3d$ energy critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 78, Issue 12, Page 2305-2353, December 2025.
Abstract We consider the 3d$3d$ energy critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation with data distributed according to the Gaussian measure with covariance operator (1−Δ)−s$(1-\Delta)^{-s}$, where Δ$\Delta$ is the Laplace operator and s$s$ is sufficiently large. We prove that the flow sends full measure sets to full measure sets. We also discuss some simple

Global Solution for the Generalized Anisotropic Navier–Stokes Equations with Large Data

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2015
We are concerned with 3D incompressible generalized anisotropic Navier– Stokes equations with hyperdissipative term in horizontal variables. We prove that there exists a unique global solution for it with large initial data in anisotropic Besov space.

On the principle of linearized stability for quasilinear evolution equations in time‐weighted spaces

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 298, Issue 12, Page 3939-3959, December 2025.
Abstract Quasilinear (and semilinear) parabolic problems of the form v′=A(v)v+f(v)$v^{\prime }=A(v)v+f(v)$ with strict inclusion dom(f)⊊dom(A)$\mathrm{dom}(f)\subsetneq \mathrm{dom}(A)$ of the domains of the function v↦f(v)$v\mapsto f(v)$ and the quasilinear part v↦A(v)$v\mapsto A(v)$ are considered in the framework of time‐weighted function spaces ...

First‐order Sobolev spaces, self‐similar energies and energy measures on the Sierpiński carpet

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 78, Issue 9, Page 1523-1608, September 2025.
Abstract For any p∈(1,∞)$p \in (1,\infty)$, we construct p$p$‐energies and the corresponding p$p$‐energy measures on the Sierpiński carpet. A salient feature of our Sobolev space is the self‐similarity of energy. An important motivation for the construction of self‐similar energy and energy measures is to determine whether or not the Ahlfors regular ...
