An Assessment of Public Preferences for Newborn Screening Using Best–Worst Scaling
To identify and quantify public preferences for attributes of newborn screening conditions. We conducted an online national survey of the public (n = 502) to evaluate preferences for attributes of candidate newborn screening conditions. Respondents were presented with hypothetical condition profiles that were defined using 10 attributes with 2-6 levels ...

Solid predominant lung adenocarcinoma exhibits an immune‐excluded, ferroptosis‐resistant niche enriched with IL4I1⁺ TAMs and TDO2⁺ myCAFs. Spatial and multi‐omics analyses reveal AhR‐driven crosstalk that promotes T cell exhaustion and therapy resistance. Blocking AhR with CH‐223191 restores ferroptosis sensitivity, and its combination with ferroptosis

Herein, the correlational changes of each PEDOT Raman peak to morphology and doping level are identified. Two equations are derived to estimate PEDOT π–π spacing and doping level from Raman spectra (from which mobility is also extracted). GIWAXS and XPS results validate the estimation equations.

Consumer Perceptions of Sustainable Farming Practices: A Best-Worst Scenario [PDF]
This paper uses data collected in the summer and fall of 2010 from a national, web-based survey of 1002 households to initiate the process of examining consumer inferences and valuations of food products making "sustainably produced” claims. A Best-Worst

Human participants with early‐ or chronic‐stage tendinopathy and healthy controls are investigated using ultrasound Doppler, 3T and 7T MRI, and tendon biopsies. Tendon swelling and hyperperfusion are evident early, while vascular growth and extracellular matrix changes are most pronounced in chronic tendinopathy. Early intervention may provide superior

WHO IS MOST RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THE MEAT WE EAT IS SAFE? [PDF]
We report results of an analysis of the attribution of relative responsibility across the stages of the food chain for ensuring food safety. Specifically, we identify perceptions of the share of the overall responsibility that each stage in the food ...

Hardware Based Projection onto The Parity Polytope and Probability Simplex
This paper is concerned with the adaptation to hardware of methods for Euclidean norm projections onto the parity polytope and probability simplex. We first refine recent efforts to develop efficient methods of projection onto the parity polytope.

The prevailing neglect of cellular hierarchies in current spatial transcriptomics deconvolution often obscures cellular heterogeneity and impedes the identification of fine‐grained subtypes. To address this issue, HIDF employs a cluster‐tree and dual regularization to systematically model cellular hierarchical structures.
