The Importance of Metal‐Organic Framework Linker Atoms for CO2 Reduction: A DFT Study
Using DFT, we examine the role of linker atoms in CO2 reduction on copper‐based metal organic frameworks (Cu MOFs). Our calculations reveal that linker atoms may serve as both CO2 and H‐shuttling sites and suggest linker electrostatics as a descriptor for linker activity. ABSTRACT Although the metal within the secondary building unit of a metal‐organic

Deep‐learning‐based signal enhancement is an effective way to recover high‐resolution details from a low‐resolution chromatin contact map. However, due to computational challenges, existing methods commonly divide up the contact map into small patches and create artificial discontinuities at patch boundaries.

Friend, Not Foe: Lowered Tissue Reactivity to Long‐Term Polyimide Implants
The choice of optimal neural probe designs remains a major challenge in the field of neurotechnology. This study investigated the biocompatibility of several probe variations, including material, thickness, width, and implantation strategy. It highlights the clear advantage of soft polyimide probes over stiff silicon probes for better device ...

Best proximity points of cyclic mappings [PDF]
In this manuscript, we proved that the existence of best proximity points for the cyclic operators T defined on a union of subsets A,B of a uniformly convex Banach space X with T(A)⊂B, T(B)⊂A and satisfying the condition ‖Tx−Ty‖≤α3[‖x−y‖+‖Tx−x‖+‖Ty−y ...

Existence and convergence of best proximity points [PDF]
Consider a self map T defined on the union of two subsets A and B of a metric space and satisfying T(A)⊆B and T(B)⊆A. We give some contraction type existence results for a best proximity point, that is, a point x such that d(x,Tx)=dist(A,B). We also give
