Increasing Bets in Betting Games
The article describes a way to set profitable odds in betting games. Based on this, we will describe an algorithm for creating new betting games. In these games, the martingale strategy of a player does not work. Thus we will find winning bets and the bankroll of a player under risk.

Microbiome‐blood–brain barrier interactions in aging — mechanisms and therapeutic potential
Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.

Structure‐forward targeting of claudins with synthetic binders
Claudins form the paracellular barriers between epithelial and endothelial tissues at tight junctions and are targets for molecular binders with the goal of modulating barrier permeability. Claudin‐binding molecules are relevant in drug delivery or in altering claudin interactions with disease‐causing proteins.

Analyzing Sequential Betting with a Kelly-Inspired Convective-Diffusion Equation
The purpose of this article is to analyze a sequence of independent bets by modeling it with a convective-diffusion equation (CDE). The approach follows the derivation of the Kelly Criterion (i.e., with a binomial distribution for the numbers of wins and

Without prejudging the specific function of money in games, the term “gambling” (or literally translated from French, “game of money”) seems to be rather confusing for the scientific understanding of the activities this term actually refers to: We ...

Peripheral lysosomes recruit PLEKHG3 to focal adhesions and restrain protrusion dynamics
Proximity‐dependent labeling at the LAMTOR complex revealed the Rho GEF PLEKHG3 as a lysosome‐proximal protein directing the study toward the influence of lysosome positioning on actin dynamics and cell motility. We show that PLEKHG3 colocalizes with lysosomes at focal adhesion sites and observe that forced peripheral dispersion of lysosomes hinders ...

BEaTmap: Simplified Rigorous BET Analysis of Isothermal Adsorption Data
BEaTmap is an open-source software designed to improve the analysis of isothermal adsorption data. The specific surface area of a porous material is commonly obtained through applying the classic BET theory to the adsorption of inert gases and vapors in ...

The bromodomain and extra-terminal domain (BET) proteins are promising drug targets for cancer and immune diseases. However, BET inhibition effects have been studied more in the context of bromodomain-containing protein 4 (BRD4) than BRD2, and the BET ...

Epigenetic reprogramming of lineage switching in cancer
Cancer cells rarely commit to a single identity. Epigenetic mechanisms and tumor microenvironment cues push epithelial cells toward flexible, hybrid states that can shift into mesenchymal, neuroendocrine, or stem‐like fates, driving metastasis, drug resistance, and tumor heterogeneity. Targeting the epigenetic regulators behind these transitions, using
