In this paper we present the Beta function and its main properties. A key feature of the Beta function, which is given by the central limit theorem, is also shown.

The Interpolating Airy Kernels for the beta=1 and beta=4 Elliptic Ginibre Ensembles
We consider two families of non-Hermitian Gaussian random matrices, namely the elliptical Ginibre ensembles of asymmetric N-by-N matrices with Dyson index beta=1 (real elements) and with beta=4 (quaternion-real elements). Both ensembles have already been solved for finite N using the method of skew-orthogonal polynomials, given for these particular ...

On Extended Beta Function and Related Inequalities
In this article, we consider a unified generalized version of extended Euler’s Beta function’s integral form a involving Macdonald function in the kernel. Moreover, we establish functional upper and lower bounds for this extended Beta function.

Minimum-Variance Kernels, Economic Risk Premia, and Tests of Multi-Beta Models [PDF]
This paper uses minimum-variance (MV) admissible kernels to estimate risk premia associated with economic risk variables and to test multi-beta models. Estimating risk premia using MV kernels is appealing because it avoids the need to 1) identify all relevant sources of risk and 2) assume a linear factor model for asset returns.

Nonparametric Regression Estimation for Multivariate Null Recurrent Processes
This paper discusses nonparametric kernel regression with the regressor being a \(d\)-dimensional \(\beta\)-null recurrent process in presence of conditional heteroscedasticity. We show that the mean function estimator is consistent with convergence rate

Nonparametric Beta Kernel Estimator for Long Memory Time Series [PDF]
The paper introduces a new nonparametric estimator of the spectral density that is given in smoothing the periodogram by the probability density of Beta random variable (Beta kernel). The estimator is proved to be bounded for short memory data, and diverges at the origin for long memory data.

Log-Determinant Divergences Revisited: Alpha-Beta and Gamma Log-Det Divergences
This work reviews and extends a family of log-determinant (log-det) divergences for symmetric positive definite (SPD) matrices and discusses their fundamental properties.
