AMIODARONE HYDROCHLORIDE AND BETAINE HYDROCHLORIDE COMBINATION: A PROMISING STRATEGY FOR MITIGATING ARTHRITIS IN RAT MODELS

INDIAN DRUGS
In an arthritic model produced by Complete Freund’s adjuvant, the purpose was to investigate the therapeutic benefits of amiodarone hydrochloride and betaine hydrochloride alone and in combination. Amiodarone hydrochloride and betaine hydrochloride groups displayed significant improvements in body weight, paw volume, motility test and stair climbing ...

Electron paramagnetic resonance and FT-IR spectroscopic studies of glycine anhydride and betaine hydrochloride

Radiation Effects and Defects in Solids, 2015
Gamma irradiated powders of glycine anhydride and betaine hydrochloride have been investigated at room temperature by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). In these compounds, the observed paramagnetic species were attributed to the R1 and R2 radicals, respectively. It was determined that the free electron interacted with environmental protons and 14N

Electron Spin Resonance in Irradiated Single Crystals of Betaine Hydrochloride

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1964
Radicals trapped in electron-irradiated single crystals of betaine hydrochloride, (CH/sub 3/)/sub 3/N/sup +/ CH/sub 2/COO/sup -/, were s tudied. Irradiation was carried out at room temperature with 1 Mev electrons. The dosages ranged from 1 to 5 Mrad and had no apparent effect on the nature of the free radicals formed in betaine. The spectrum along the

Molecular structure, hydrogen bonding, basicity and spectroscopic properties of 3-hydroxypyridine betaine hydrochloride monohydrate

Journal of Molecular Structure, 2007
Abstract The effect of hydrogen bonding, inter- and intramolecular electrostatic interactions on the structure of 3-hydroxy-pyridine betaine hydrochloride monohydrate (1-carboxymethyl-3-hydroxypyridinium chloride monohydrate), 3-HO-PBH·Cl·H2O, has been studied by X-ray diffraction, 1H and 13C NMR and FTIR spectroscopies, and by the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p ...
